Q1.
Condensation forms inside the refrigerator.
Condensation and ice form inside of the refrigerator when it is installed in a damp area, the door is opened for a long time, or when wet food is stored without a lid. Please wipe the refrigerator dry with a clean dry towel.
Q2.
Cracking sounds ("click").
You may hear cracking sounds which is normal when the refrigerator: * parts expand or contract * the defrost equipment operates * relays which control the compressor and fan are operating * opening and closing the door * air blow fan turns on and off and door closer operates
Q3.
Sounds like water is flowing ("trickle")
You may hear the sound of water flowing when the compressor stops running. This is the sound of refrigerant flowing. This sound also occurs when the compressor starts to operate.
Q4.
Vibration sounds ("rattle").
If the refrigerator is installed on the wooden floor or near a wooden wall, the vibration sounds may happen. In this case, please move it onto a harder floor. A small vibration can make a big noise when the refrigerator is not properly leveled. In this case, adjust the leveling screws to make it even.
Q5.
Motor starting and stopping sounds ("clunk")
This noise happens when the compressor starts and stops operation.
This is due to the vibration of the motor and the piston inside the refrigerator.
This phenomenon is the same as when you start and stop the car engine operation.
Q6.
Motor rotating sounds ("whizz")
This happens when the compressor or refrigerator fan operates.
The sounds may be magnified by the reflection from the back of the wall. This is normal.
Q7.
Wind blowing sound ("whoosh").
This sound occurs when hot air enters the freezer or refrigerator compartment, as the internal temperature and pressure are lower than the external temperature and pressure, and the air moves in through a small gap to equalize the pressure.
Q8.
Sounds after installation.
Temperatures of the freezer and refrigerator compartments are high in the new refrigerator. The compressor and freezer fans rotates at a high speed to rapidly decrease the temperature of the compartments during the initial operation. This makes a loud noise. This sound becomes gradually quieter as the temperature of the compartments decreases. The noise may be very loud when the refrigerator is first installed.
Q9.
Refrigerator is not cool enough.
1) The temperature control is set on "weak" in the refrigerator compartment.Set the temperature control to above "normal use." 2) The refrigerator is subject to direct sunlight or near heating equipment such as gas oven range. Check the refrigerator is in the proper place and move it if necessary. 3) Hot food is stored. Cool hot food before storing in the refrigerator. 4) Too much food is in the refrigerator. Leave reasonable space between foods. 5) The door is opened and closed frequently. 6) The door is not firmly closed. Adjust the leveling screw so that the door closes securely in its own gravity and remove all obstacles which interfere with the door closing. 7) In sufficient clearance between refrigerator and walls. Leave clearance between refrigerator and surroundings. 8) The ambient temperature is below 41¡?¨¡(5??E). Install the refrigerator in a place where the ambient temperature is above 41¡?¨¡(5??E).
Q10.
Food is frozen in the refrigerator compartment.
1) The temperature control is set too high. Set the temperature control knob lower. 2) Food that contains a lot of liquid is stored in the inner part of the shelf where the coolest air blows. Store this type of food or drink in the outer part of the shelf.
